Questionmark Users to Explore Assessment Accessibility, Mobility and More at Conference
Participants will learn about the newest technologies for low, medium and high-stakes assessments


NORWALK, CT – February 23, 2010 – Accessibility, mobility and the easy delivery of a single assessment to multiple environments will be key themes of the Questionmark 2010 Users Conference in Miami March 13 – 17.


Dr. David Metcalf, senior researcher at the University of Central Florida’s Institute for Simulation and Training, will deliver a keynote address, Assessments on the Move: Mobility, Mashups and More. Dr. Metcalf, who is also an online faculty member at Walden University, explores leading edge innovations in learning and has authored several recent works including mLearning: Mobile Learning and Performance.


The conference, to be held in the Hilton Miami Downtown, will bring users of the Questionmark™ Perception™ assessment management system together for three intensive days of learning centered on technical training, customer case studies, technology demonstrations and best practices for creating and deploying online surveys, quizzes, tests and exams. Participants will network with fellow testing and assessment professionals and meet with Questionmark product managers to influence future product developments. Customer presentations will cover a wide range of topics, including:

The conference will focus on the here-and-now as well as the future. Best practice sessions will cover such topics as making assessments more accessible, conducting assessment validity studies, understanding item and test analysis analytics, and creating assessments that measure skill and ability as well as knowledge. Product training sessions will cover basic and advanced authoring techniques, analyzing assessment results, integrating Questionmark Perception with other systems, and other topics. ADL Technical Advisor Daniel R. Rehak, Ph.D., and Questionmark Integration Team Lead Steve Lay will lead a discussion soliciting participants’ views about the future of ADL SCORM.
