Questionmark Perception Authoring Questionmark Word Authoring Templates

Questionmark Word Authoring Templates

Overview
Many organisations have discovered the benefits of using Questionmark™ Perception™ to create and manage quizzes, tests, and surveys. Yet the instructors, teachers and subject matter experts (SMEs) responsible for authoring assessments sometimes lack easy or direct access to this powerful yet easy-to-use authoring tool. Some non-technical SMEs may simply lack the confidence or desire to develop computerised assessments.

Questionmark Word Authoring Templates make it easy for subject matter experts to produce questions for assessments that can be delivered, tracked and managed with Questionmark Perception. This tool also empowers the non-technical SMEs who might otherwise avoid computerised assessments with the ability to author questions deliverable in online tests, quizzes, surveys and exams.

How the Templates Work

Questionmark Word Authoring Templates provide a familiar and easy-to-use authoring environment for subject matter experts. The Word templates can be freely distributed by a Questionmark Perception licensor to any number of SMEs.

Questionmark Word Authoring Templates ScreenshotsEach SME uses a special Word toolbar to select the type of question to create.

The page then displays a form that the author fills in with the question's stimulus, choices, score, and feedback.

A single document can contain numerous questions.

When finished, the author sends the Word file to the appropriate gatekeeper, who publish the questions directly to a local Perception repository.

Questionmark Word Authoring Templates Offers...
  • Authoring for SMEs within Microsoft Word
  • Easy-to-use question forms
  • Quick importing into Perception
  • SME's have option to shuffle choices in multiple choice questions
  • Support for popular question types such as Likert Scale and multiple choice
