Multilingual Assessments in Questionmark Perception v5

Synopsis:

Questionmark Perception is optimised for delivering multilingual tests, quizzes, surveys and exams. Default participant interfaces login screens, navigation controls and assessment list screens -- are available in 20 languages (additional languages can be easily added.) Plus, Questionmark's new Translation Management System, an optional component in Perception Enterprise Manager, helps test publishers, businesses and other organisations that need to deliver assessments in multiple languages by streamlining the management and delivery of localised content to multinational workforces.

This session explains and demonstrates Perception v5’s new capabilities for authoring, scheduling and delivery of multi-lingual assessments and provides step-by-step guidance on planning and deploying multilingual assessments.

This session will cover:

  • Planning a multilingual assessment/item bank
  • Using the Translation Management System, including:
    • Setting up projects
    • Translating items and topics
    • Translating assessments
    • Exporting/importing for third-party translations
    • Editing source language items/assessments of which translated versions already exist
    • Importing and exporting qpacks of multilingual items/assessments
  • Delivery of multilingual assessments, including:
    • Standard “shipping” multilingual features of the participant-facing software
    • Modifying available languages and controls in assessment templates and system templates
    • Scheduling participants for multilingual assessments
    • Integration implications – launching multilingual assessments from external systems such as a learning management system
  • Reporting on multilingual assessments with:
    • Enterprise reporter
    • Questionmark Analytics
